DB11 (2016-2023)
The Aston Martin DB11, introduced in 2016 as the successor to the DB9, marked a pivotal shift in the brand's evolution, blending modern performance with timeless grand touring luxury. It was the first model launched under Aston Martin’s “Second Century” plan and came with two main engine options: a 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 producing up to 630 hp in the AMR version, and a lighter, more agile 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 sourced from Mercedes-AMG, delivering 503 hp. Both engines were paired with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive.
The DB11 featured a bold new design, including a clamshell hood, Aeroblade™ aerodynamic technology, and signature LED lighting, all wrapped in a sleek, elegant profile. Inside, it offered hand-stitched leather, high-end materials, and a Mercedes-based infotainment system. The model lineup included the V12 coupe, V8 coupe, AMR performance version, and the Volante convertible (V8 only).
Production of the DB11 ended in 2023 with the arrival of the DB12, but it remains a landmark model for its role in modernizing Aston Martin’s lineup and redefining the grand tourer segment with a blend of power, style, and refinement.
