Brakes

The front braking system was modified in 1950 from the original wedge front brake arrangement (with hydraulic expanders) to a more modern setup (with hydraulic cylinders).

The change was introduced from the following chassis numbers:

• MkVI – from B1GT
• Silver Wraith – from WME1
• Silver Dawn – from SCA1
