Pistons (8:1 Compression Ratio)

North American spec Silver Shadow & Bentley T models with an Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system were the first to be fitted with 8 to 1 compression ratio pistons (from VIN 14954). These were originally stamped with part number UE38199. SZ models also destined for North America, California and Japan as well as Turbo models were also fitted with 8:1 CR pistons, originally as UE45566.
