Before VIN 13607 (approx)

Up until VIN 13607 (approximately) a separate gearbox oil cooler (heat exchanger) was fitted. This unit sat under the bell housing. Later cars had pipes that ran into the main coolant radiator which had an integral gearbox oil cooler.
