Rear Isolator Modification

Prior to VIN 16214 (15556 in North America) all 4 door and 2 door fixed head models were fitted with a rear isolator between the top of the rear spring and the height control ram that contained a section of rubber. This rubber section has a tendency to collapse.

From VIN 16214 Rolls-Royce modified their cars so that a solid steel rear isolator was fitted as standard.
This solid isolator can be supplied in a kit to upgrade earlier models. The kit contains two isolators, two upper spring seats and a selection of height shims.
