Speedo Drive & Transducer

From VIN 1001 to 20000 all cars (except Turbo models from VIN 8537) were fitted with a transducer (UD20990) which had a fine thread and the number 317986 stamped into the transducer body.
All Turbo models from VIN 8537 to 30000 were fitted with a coarse thread transducer (UD24231) with the number 327206 stamped into it and Lucar connectors. The coarse thread speedo drive housing in the gearbox that this transducer screws onto was also supplied as a supercession to some non-Turbo models so please check the body number of your transducer before ordering.
From VIN 20001 all cars were fitted with transducer UD24231.
From VIN 30001 all cars were fitted with transducer UD71988 which has the same body number (327206) as UD24231 but it has a multi plug electrical connection.
