1984 to 1988 Models

From the following VINs a stiffer, sportier steering rack was fitted to the Bentley models listed below:
Turbo R VIN 12834 to 23935
Eight VIN 13876 to 24497
Mulsanne VIN 13860 to 24501
Mulsanne L VIN 13873 to 24501
Mulsanne Turbo VIN 13928 to 14162
The original steering rack fitted to these models had rectangular mounting feet.
From 1989 the steering racks had oval mounting feet. These later racks (UR71817R) were sometimes fitted to earlier models (along with a modified lower steering column and brackets between the subframe and the rack).
Prior to ordering a replacement rack please check which type you have fitted to your car.
