he long wheelbase version of the Silver Shadow was produced in limited numbers and is now a rare and desirable motor car, providing four inches extra legroom over the standard saloon. This one was first registered in May 1972 and is further enhanced by the smaller rear screen, or ‘backlight’ option, chosen to afford more privacy to the rear seat passengers. Running and driving, this car is very original, with an excellent interior, and although no longer necessary, has an MOT valid until January 2022. Complete with a very comprehensive service history, it is now in need of some restoration work and would prove a very worthwhile project for a dedicated enthusiast. (Please note that although not present on the photographs, the radiator grille and mascot will be refitted to the car, prior to sale).
