“It’s quite unusual to see a Silver Shadow finished in black, but this one appears to be an original factory finished car. First registered in 1971, it has covered just over 107,000 miles in the hands of 6 owners. At some point, it has been converted to run on LPG, obviously to aid economy. Overall, quite a tidy car but close inspection reveals the usual areas of concern. Large areas of rust, together with seized mechanical components unfortunately render this example beyond economical repair. As the popularity of the ‘SY ’range continues to increase, it will yield much needed parts for other similar models.”
