"First taking to the highways and byways of England in September of 1957, this Bentley S1 began life in the West Midlands. Wherever it went after that is a little unclear but over recent years, a restoration was begun, but not completed. Originally finished in Shell Grey over Black Pearl, and trimmed in Blue hide, it is now repainted in White with a nicely trimmed two-tone interior, but in vinyl rather that the more traditional leather. At some point, the car has been treated to a rear axle from a commercial vehicle, resulting in a rather obvious non-standard appearance to the rear track. These ‘modifications’ together with substantial corrosion issues mean that a full restoration would prove very costly so recycling is the sensible route to take."
