"We’ve known this car for a number of years as it lived locally and was driven daily to the owner’s restaurant. Although covering mostly short journeys it could also be seen towing a caravan occasionally. A mechanical failure leading to brake problems, resulted in a metal gate and fence being used to bring the car to a halt, hence the bodywork modifications shown in the photographs. Already somewhat corroded, and in need of more than a little TLC, the car was deemed beyond economical repair and subsequently written off. The level of damage sustained means that it will be recycled."
